Some time ago ( back on July 31st to be exact ) someone landed on my site by searching for "Eric Sowell". That was immediately followed by another search which led to Pisteuomen as well, googled this time were the words: "worst ways to die in the wild". I warned Mr. Sowell that someone might be gunnin' for him and that it might be in his best interest to watch his back. Dying in the wild would totally suck!!! Well, perhaps I should speak for myself now. Today I had a person google "theology of Christian funerals" which landed them at my site and right after that, another google result that led to Pisteuomen was: "Michael Halcomb murdered". I don't know what this is all about but I'm beginning not to like it!!! Who's next?

I recently had the privilege of chatting with Eric Sowell, a self-styled computer techie and lover of all things Greek. It was an interesting convo as we talked about things ranging from Greek to Aramaic, Computer Programming to "Q" and English Bible translations to "Match.com". I've posted the interview below. Eric pretty much nailed the 2nd Greek translation from yesterday. Good job, Eric! Here's the question and answer (I'll use Eric's): Statement to translate: Ῥύγχος ἔχων τοιοῦτον, Ὀλυμπικέ, μήτ᾿ ἐπὶ κρήνην ἔλθῃς, μήτ᾿ ἐνόρα πρός τι διαυγὲς ὕδωρ. καὶ σὺ γάρ, ὡς Νάρκισσος, ἰδὼν τὸ πρόσωπον ἐναργές, τεθνήξῃ, μισῶν σαυτὸν ἕως θανάτου. Eric's (smooth) answer: Having such a face, [Olympicus], don't go either to a fountain or water pure enough to act as a mirror. For you, just like Narcissus, when you look at your face you will die, hating yourself so much that you will kill yourself.
